Owner, Hubbell’s Tree Service. 1998-present.

The name of the business has changed to Working With Nature to reflect my changing field of practice. I work primarily with  tree inventories of parks and private properties, consult on tree health issues of individual and group trees, and do hazard tree evaluation. I also do orchard and individual fruit tree pruning, shade tree pruning and conduct pruning workshops.

Teaching Assistant 2002.

I was one of two teaching assistants for the USU Forestry Summer camp. We shepherded 18 students through a variety of field activities as they learned to cruise timber, sample waterways, survey campgrounds, identify a wide variety of plants and trees, dig soil pits to determine growing conditions, etc.
